In the 21st century, one of the most serious dilemmas we face is that of addiction, a problem that manifests itself in two opposing forms: on the one hand, food addiction, in the enchantment and trap of junk food typical of Western America, and on the other, technological addiction, with China as the epicenter of a digital frenzy. Imagine a photograph capable of capturing the essence of these two realities: on the left, a plate overflowing with artificial snacks, bright and attractive, but devoid of substance; on the right, a bright screen that reflects faces absorbed in virtual interactions, while the real world fades into the background.
This image tells how technology and the consumption of junk food have altered our daily habits, depriving us of the genuine pleasure of experiencing authentic moments. Today we find ourselves navigating a sea of superficial stimuli, forgetting the true flavors and genuine emotions linked to the simple act of sharing a meal, a smile, a conversation. It's time to rediscover these experiences, to reconnect with what is authentic, to find the true meaning of life.
